Rift Mobile App

Published on September 15, 2012 by in Rift News

When it comes to doing the crafting dailies, I slack like no one else. But sometimes Trion adds new recipes and I wish I would have done my dailies and had those extra marks.

And then, my fellow guildies that only raid log, show up with 1.000 crafting marks… The answer to that is the mini-games that they play every hour on the Rift Mobile App. So I’m like: this is pro, I need to get this mobile app. But unfortunately it only runs on fancy phones that can’t be used as weapons: example.

So I set sail in the epic quest of making it work on the PC instead of the phone. It didn’t take long until I came up with the solution. I wish I thought of this earlier. Here is what you have to do to make the Rift Mobile App to work on your PC.

Step 1: Download BlueStacks App Player from http://www.bluestacks.com/

Step 2: Install BlueStack App Player on your computer.

Step 3: Run the App. To download the Rift Mobile App, press the magnifying glass on the top right corner.

Step 4: Search for Rift Mobile App and download it. Enjoy your free stuff.

While I was researching this app I also came across a thread on the official Rift forums. If you want to read more feedback about BlueStacks you can also read this forum post.
